Price
Prices vary depending on the complexity of the design, the flavour of the cake and the number of people. To give you an idea of pricing:
- The smallest cake is for 8 portions and starts at 55€, and includes basic decoration, board with ribbon, and cake box. The next size is for 13 portions starting at 70€.
- Additional figurines and flowers start range from 10-25€ per decoration depending on the complexity.
- Tiered cakes start at 5.50€ the portion, but can increase to 7 or 9€ a portion depending on the complexity of the design.
- Scultped cakes start at 150€, for example cars, fire engines, boats and trains, bags.
- Cupcakes start at 3.50€ per cupcake without sugarpaste decoration, or 5€ per cupcake with sugarpaste decoration.
- Pricing does not include delivery.
The cake is reserved when the payment is made. Therefore, we may not be able to make your cake if other orders have been confirmed in the meantime or if your payment is made too late.
For cakes under 100€, and for all cakes over 100€ ordered less than one month before the delivery/collection date, we ask you to pay the full amount when ordering.
For cakes over 100€ ordered more than one month before the delivery/collection date, we ask you to pay a deposit of 50% at the time of order to reserve the cake and the remainder one month before.
Booking Timeline
We have limited availability for the cakes we make to ensure we can deiver on the high standards our cakes promise, we therefore require as much notice as you can give. For weddings, this means 1-6 months and all other cakes we prefer at least 2-4 weeks notice (to ensure we can order any specific materials we may need). We can sometimes respond to late requests depending on our availability and the request, so do still contact us and check.
Delivery
Cakes can be collected at the workshop on a Saturday or Sunday between 9am-10.30am, although we accept no responsibility for cakes once they leave the shop. We can also deliver cakes for cakes over 100€ and according with our availability (recommended for Wedding Cakes), at an additional cost (costs vary on the distance).
Cancellations
We wish to promote the best possible relationship with our clients, however to be fair to everyone we have the following cancellation policy. Cancellations made up to 2 weeks before the collection date will receive a full refund, cancellations made up to 7 days before the collection date will receive 50% of the final price, and cancellations less than 6 days will not receive a refund.
